I work with beauty and wellbeing founders to tell their story with soul...to find their true voice.

I have worked in the beauty industry for over 25 years. I love it.

After heading up the NPD team for many years of a multi-million brand, I “get” product, I understand the blood, sweat and tears that is poured into every element of those pots, bottles and tubes over months and years of work, I understand the commercial pressures and I am immersed in the noise of the industry. I think that gives me a different perspective when I write.

14 years ago, I stepped out and started my own consultancy.

I know the feeling of being driven to do something different, to design your own future. It’s hard work, it consumes you. Sometimes it is hard to know what to do for yourself and what you need partnership to do best.

Not only do I pride myself on delivering gorgeous verbal identity for my clients, but I believe I become a friendly, approachable ally of creativity and support. I know how founders are often juggling real life and their vision, I get it...me too! So flexibility and empathy is invaluable to my clients.

I consider myself a creative collaborator.

Language and tone has the power to shift emotion, mindset and direction; it defines the energy, intention and connection, how you make people feel. Words can be magic. Words matter to me. Words last. If you peel away the visual layers of your product or service, are you still visible? Are you still heard? It's noisy out there.
